She sees the multi faceted aspects of ourselves that appears separate to ourselves. At arms length, she sees a self that is trapped. The self who stays asleep in a transparent vessel, unaware they are contained. When we look at it from a different perspective, depicted as being upside down, we experience our nature. The world that is outside, the 'real' world, shows a solitary tree. It belongs in a forest, but it stands alone.
