Holding the Feather is a story about hope. The representation of a bird in flight,  acts as a representation of awareness. The ability to fly above and see the bigger picture or a different perspective is hinted at. When one feels like its hard to get off the ground, because something isn't going right, all one has is a glimmer of hope that something will change.
